Do you get holiday vacation?

For winter break I get 2 weeks off. Today was my last day of school until January 9th but in January when I get back, I only ahve 4 days of exams and then get pretty much the rest of January off....

You all depress me. I work at a dog kennel...the dogs still need to go out, eat, and get cleaned-so no vacation for me. I work both Saturday and Sunday, but luckily I have Monday off. I also work New Years Day. It was supposed to be whoever works one, dosen't work the other...but oh well. It won't be too horrible, I think we get to leave for most of the day on Christmas, and just come back to walk the dogs and leave.

Well, I have the next 2 days off but that's only because I usually do. So nope, not a holiday vacation.

I'm not working yet, but if I was I would have, sat-mon off, because if a holiday falls on a weekend, the day off is moved up to the next business day. For christmas eve work ends usually at 5 or 6pm, instead of 9pm.

But I'm a jobless bum right now, so I've had a month off

lets see, I am working tomorow...I have the 25th, 26th, and 27th off only vbecause we are closed on the 25th and 26th, I am working on the 28th, 29th, 30th, and get 31st,1st and 2nd off lol my break in kind of in spurts..

Nope nothing special for me here. I always work Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday so yep I am working Christmas. First Christmas I have ever worked and I am having a hard time accepting that. Work someplace that is 24/7 and since I am not one of the Monday-Friday people I get to work.

I worked 3 days last week, and will work 2 next week. My new job is VERY generous with vacation time. They pro-rate your education or your previous experience, and credit you as if you've worked there that long!
