Countpudyoola - what a breath of fresh air you are............
please join us on a regular basis and share the antics of Mia and Vincent. It isn't that we "like" cats here - it is that we are gaga over them - and love to hear each others stories and see the pictures.

Besides, like a few others on the forum, you have a great knack for writing.

  2. Trust me...

    I feel the love.

Look, I told you my cats were going to get big heads...Vince's has already doubled in size.

And mia's attitude has taken a turn for the snotty...

Mia & Vincent, the two of you are precious! What sweet faces you have
Mia's face is quite 'female' and Vince you look all 'male' (even a little M. Coon, perhaps?)

Either way, you guys are a perfect pair for COTD!

And one more thing: my kitties LOVE Valerian too- almost as much as Catnip

I knew it! I knew it!!!

    Hello Countpudyoola,

Your kitties were named after two characters in Pulp Fiction, weren't they? (Maybe you should get a third cat and name him Jules Winnfield!) I couldn't help but scratch my head after seeing the name "Vincent Vega", thinking that I've heard it somewhere before...but where oh where? Then on a hunch I checked out the
IMDb website for Pulp Fiction and sure enough, there it was--Vincent Vega (played by John Travolta) and Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman)!!! (I hope that your Mia doesn't OD one of these days, where Vincent would have to stab her chest with an adrenaline shot! )

I've almost forgotten what a great movie Pulp Fiction was, and naming your cats after two of its memorable characters was such a neat tribute...

May you visit this site often and share your critters' antics...I treasure this site because no a**holes dare post here...

Hi Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega! What a pair you two are!! Laurel and Hardy??? Abott and Costello? Ut oh, they're "all guy" teams!! Still, I'm sure that you two crazy kids, just like those two other laugh riots, keep your human in stiches 24/7!! Did I tell you yet how handsome and beautiful you are? A person couldn't ask for a more lovable, laughable, delightful pair than Mia and Vincent! Congratulations to you Mia and Vincent on claiming the most coveted honor of Cats of the Day! You are simply the best! And your Dad's pretty special too!!(P.S..I'm so happy you could stay together!!

    Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega

These two are adorable! I know they're described as long hairs, but could there be some Maine Coon in them? They have alot of the characteristics of my M.C., "Michael" (not Mike, Mikey, or any derivative thereof; he's quite "regal" -- and about 21 pounds to back it up!)

How wonderful, that you could take littermates. My cats have all been rescue kitties: one was feral, Michael was hit by a car and rescued by my vet, who wanted to find him a home... and my newest is a kitten who's mother is feral. (I live in the country) The mother brought all 4 kittens to my friend's doorstep when they were only a day or so old, and left them. SOOO, it was lots of bottle feeding! However, the mother cat has hung around (at a safe distance, of course) and sort of "watched over" the raising of her babies -- strange, huh?!

My kids also like to help with my keying... usually by lying beside the keyboard and feigning sleep -- only to reach out and press a key (or 6!) now and then...

Just because I'm curious, how did you select the names?

What an absolutely priceless pair of real characters!!

They are so full of life and fun you must never want to leave them even to go shopping!

I love when cats get so involved with running the house - that's exactly how it should be....

I'm in Melbourne, Australia, and my three darlings are the reason I am always happy!

You two darlings enjoy all the fan mail and have a fabulous day of fame.

Big purrs from Monte, Mimi and Angel Baby.

    Regards
    Diane

    Grasshopper thanks you, Count!

And here all this time we've been hogging the valerian! - she's in for a treat tonight! We love Mia & Vince - I didn't get my COTD fix this morning, so am just now checking them out! Maybe if Grasshopper gets enough valerian she'll mellow out and let us bring home another furrperson?
Miaows and Purrs to you, Count!

Well, Mia's pretty well matched with Uma Thurman but Vince is a whole lot better looking than John Travolta.

Well, Mia could see that the time was coming to pass the torch to the new COTD , as the newcomer was already on the horizon. M&V were content however, as Jake appears to be a great cat of similar roots. "Kudo's Jake", they mewl. You're a fine guy and not a bad looker, too. Vince would set you up with his sister , but alas she's been...well...fixed.
Even though they can see the torch continue on past the horizon in Jake's able paw...they fondly remember June 10th when they got extra stinky food (that the human has to put on a plate), extra long feather time and plenty of petting time on the couch while the human cackled at something called Zoolander.
    "Thanks everybody!"
