    I hope you have taken your dog to a veterinary opthamologist (eye doctor). There may be something that can be done.

    Also, you might want to look at the message board at Blind dogs@www.ezboard. Other people with blind dogs have a lot of helpful suggestions on how to help yourself and your dog cope with blindness.

    the vet has seen her and since she was bron semi-blind he said that their was nothing he could and that her ears would guide her

    Sometimes I wonder where my mind goes..... When you said her eyes were now shut, I thought you meant she had passed over the rainbow bridge. I was having a temporary brain fart I guess. I am glad she is still with you.

    Many blind dogs lead very successful lives. I know I have bad eyes and my hearing more than makes up for it. My husband and son are constantly asking me "How did you hear that?"

    Be patient and do a search on the net. There are many good places that have wonderful advice to offer out there!
