PC, I'll take a frozen 'rita. Just got bad news about our friend with prostate cancer (see General) so there's one more to add to the prayer list.

Funny how life can go from good to bad in the wink of an eye.

After much crying and frustration today it's finally a happy ending. For those of you who don't know what i'm talking about, go view my most recent thread in Dog General. I was so worried as to what would lye ahead for this sweet dog.

I'll take a virgin slushie and I have homemade corn & black bean salsa to pass around.

At least it was a happy ending. You did a great thing, Kay. I bet that little girl is very happy now.

I just read the entire thread, Kay. Since your mom was adamant that you couldn't keep her, I'm so glad you found her home. If your mom had agreed to keep her, I'd be heart broken that you found her home. I can't believe how similar her and Ki were and how well they got along. Since I don't make it to the dog side very often, it was really quite difficult for me to tell the two apart - even after you showed her with the collar you put on.

I will definitely join you in finishing off that salsa, and make it a full blown slushie for me - green please - thanks.

Alive and well David. My co-worker goes religiously to see him every time he performs in Atlantic City. He was recently scheduled to perform in New Orleans, I believe, and obviously that is not going to happen.

Richard I opened your thread so here I am posting. I will take a Black Russian please.

It was just that I haven't heard anything about him lately. Thanks for the info. I think I'll have a double slushie and sit down and relax the knee. It aches when I've been on it too much.

It is good to be alive.........and Rupert and I are very grateful.

Something terrible has happened here and I know it's going to come back and bite me in the butt. Our department is going to be in deep doo-doo come Monday morning. I need a big slushie now please. Thanks.

Sorry, don't mean to....oh yeah, that was last week's Thursday.

Great news Kay that Coco is home again. She landed on your doorstep because she knew that you would help. Kudos to you.

So this means that you DO have an appliance that needs batteries!!!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
