I just got a solicitation in the mail for a new dog magazine devoted entirely to labs! It's editor is the writer of the now famous book "Just Labs" It looked terrific. 5 issues yearly. Thank you!!!!!! I submitted to it yesterday evening. I am new here, and very happy to be here!!!!!!! I have a Labrador, too! But she's black! Her name is Sadie, and she is a female, and she is also just turned 5 years old in April!!! Hopefull my "Just Labs" magazine will come!!! I also get Dog Fance and Dog & Kennel!!! Like you, I am a Labby Lover!!

I will post a pic of Sadie as soon as my dad hooks up the scanner!!! I hope you won't mind- it's not color!! Since you have to scan a pic of your dog if you want him to be dog of the day, maybe I'll see if Sadie can be Dog of the Day someday!! Does the pic have to be color for that?

Hi LabLover. How's the beautiful Sadie girl? Star just stole a banana off the counter! I'll probably be up tonight! I'm not sure about the color picture for DOTD. I've never seen one in black and white. Could be very "artsy!!" I think there are guidelines for posting a pic. on the DOTD site. I'm sure she's beautiful in ANY color! I can't wait to see a picture of the sweet Sadie. Give her a big hug for me and a sloppy labbie kiss from Star. You are such a good lab mom!! Talk to you soon, OK? GO TO BED; it's late!
