My ex husband used to chomp really hard on his food, it drove me crazy. Oh, well, at least he didn't eat with his mouth open. Ugh, I had a co-worker that did that (I mentioned her in the co-worker thread). I hate the sound of people eating...

Please don't, It wasn't. There are many more "adults" in my life than just you.

However, as far as staying out of your threads, when you make a general thread like this, it's for everyone to post in. I am allowed to post in it as much as I wish to, just as you'd be allowed to post in mine.

Val and Kay...its absolutely none of my business...but I just want to say since I have been at pettalk you are two of my favorite people. You both love your pets so much. Friends are too hard to come by in life to let stupid things ruin that.

When people think I'm a hypocrite because I support adopting pets from shelters, but none of my pets are actually adopted.

People who fish for compliments and/or sympathy all the time. Attention hogs, that type of thing.

Amen to that, Kari! I can't stand that, either. Too much drama. I've seen a lot here I agree with.

Gracie's Mommy: In Florida, we have screened in areas around our pools. We never have to worry about lots of leaves and bugs.

Lady's Human: LMAO at the bats! I was picturing that in my head and it made quite a funny one.

Caseysmom: I can't stand lots of noises when people are eating, either. It's very annoying.

Ok. I HATE it when people pop their gum! That gets on my last nerve. There's a guy on my shift that does that and it's really hard to ignore.

There was a girl at work that was asking for our different opinions on something and then didn't like what we said. Why did she ask us if she didn't want to know??

Computer viruses! I had one this morning and it's one so bad that it can't even be fixed. It just has to be in quarrantine all the time. Grrrr. I'd love to mess up the computers of the idiots that create all those things.

I can't stand arguing, it just gets me so tied up in an emotional knot. I think because I get torn between my anger and my fear of hurting the person I'm arguing with or getting hurt myself. Sometimes I've gotten so angry, I've said something hurtful, and then I can hardly live with myself later on, the remorse is crushing. At the same time, that inhibition makes it hard for me to express when I'm feeling angry about something so more often than not I hold it in, which can sometimes serve to cause resentment to fester. It's a vicious cycle . I don't know that that's really a rant as much as just something that I struggle with.

As far as a specific rant, I just feel completely burned out on my day to day routine right now. I need a break away from my work and from sitting and typing all day but I can't afford to just take days off because then I don't get paid. There's just nothing much that I feel I can look forward to right now in the near future, and it has me feeling unmotivated and moody the past few weeks.

Well heck, I thought of another one. I can't stand it when people simply won't listen to simple requests. How many times I've told my brothers-in-law when they come over to please ignore Tasha and don't talk/coo at her when she barks at them because it encourages the behavior, and yet EVERY time they come over and she barks, they coo and talk to her and that only gets her going more.

As soon as they stop talking to her and stop looking at her, she settles down and even comes up to see them, yet they still never get the point. Sometimes I wanna bop them one, how hard is it to follow a simple request?

I have the same problem with some people and Finn. I tell them if they don't want him to bring his toys to them and be really close to them, they need to just shut up and don't look at him. Don't touch him, nothing. They don't get it. Oh, well. He doesn't bother me.

I detest people who cannot accept that someone may have a different point of view than they do. I hate it when those people do everything in their power to try to cram their way of thinking down everyone else's throat.

I also can't stand people who refuse to accept that not everyone makes the same choices in life that they do, so they spend obscene amounts of time trying to get others to adhere to the same choices.

    work related rants

I work at a coffee shop and it drives me nuts when people stick their hands behind the counter to reach stuff! Just ask me and I'll get it for you! I don't reach into their purses or wallets and grab out money to pay for their drink, so why would you reach into my area and grab stuff. Straws, lids, sleeves, drink carriers. Usually I smile and say "let me help you with that". But ugghh it drives me nuts!

People who reach into the tip jar to take out a penny! It's not a leave a penny take a penny jar, that why there are also dollar bills in it! Please don't stick your hand in the tip jar, it just makes the baristas angry! If you are actually short a penny, just ask or say something odds are we will gladly give you the penny.

Ugghh it also drives me nuts when people stare at me making drinks then make stupid comments. Don't assume every drink is yours! I get stuff like this everyday..

    I'm at bar making drinks.

Customer: WAIT! I said I didn't want whip cream! Please take that off.
Me: Is your drink a grande mocha (then I look at the side of the cup) and is your name Bob?
    Customer: No
Me: Well then this isn't your drink, yours will be coming up soon I promise.

    *Hypocritical people...
Especially when someone complains about someone being a certain way when they're ten times worse.

*When people don't take responsibility for their children or animals.
Child is screaming in a store? Correct him/her.
    Dog is misbehaving? Correct him/her.

Casey's mom, I can't stand hearing people eat either.
My sister eats loudly sometimes, and she'll do it right next to you. It's so obnoxious. However, I guess some people can't help it.

Laura, wow.. people actually take money out of your tip jar?

Jessica, UGH.. I have the same issue with people and Kiara.
She's afraid of people are first. I tell everyone that. So, evidently since she's afriad it completely makes sense to talk back at her!?!? There's only a few imbeciles that i've come across, thankfully!

All the time! And sometimes it's more than just a few pennies. People will be a dollar short and ask "Can I take it from there?" (pointing at the tip jar) No! You can not take it from there. Don't be a jerk and take out the debit card that I can clearly see hanging out of your wallet. I'm amazed at the nerve of some people.
