    I hope this will help!!!

Funny enough, this one doesn't do that to me. I know different meds work differently for people. My mom is the same way, she took darvocet (or percocet) and was OUT for the day.

This makes me anxious...I get lots more done on it. Wierd, huh? I HATE the anxious feeling, but I have a feeling I prefer that to the "being fired" feeling.

Kelly, I sure hope that the darvocet will continue to work for you so you'll be able to function at work. Please take care.

I hope you are feeling better!
Good idea - your boss obviously has no idea about illness - hope things work out for you

Hmmm....a little ironic that the boss who talked to you about being absent is out sick herself, don't you think? Is this a case of "do as I say not as I do?"

Anyway, I'm glad you got the meds you need and hopefully the boss will be a little more sympathetic to your case now that she's experienced a little illness herself.

I'm glad you were able to get the Darvocet. I've read someplace that very strong pain meds, if used correctly, attack only the pain and addiction risk is low.

Maybe your boss barked at you a couple of days ago because she was coming down with the creeping crud.

    Stace,

She just called, she'll be "in", but most of her day is out in meetings with our kiddos. She's been having some blood pressure issues/heart palpitations, that's why she was out yesturday. That's scary stuff. I hope she'll figure that out.

When she called, she was really nice. Told me I sounded really conjested. I just acted brave and said I was feeling better. That's a knee jerk response I have.

    OK...better get back to work.

Oh Kelly, I just heard about this (I've sorta been out of touch for the last week). I'm so sorry. Just when everything else seems to start coming together for you - finally - another stumbling block appears. Hang in there girlfriend, you can handle it. Be seeing you soon pretty woman.
