I was "Restless" until Slick brought Mario out to keep me company (Remember that Slick? we almost had the security guards knocking on the door when Mario got excited!) hmmmm.. gee.. the security guards might have been HOT! What were we thinking by telling Mario to be quiet??

Then there was that guy in the elevator talking about getting calls on his cell phone...... OMD, what a time we had. I should have winked at the bartender...maybe I would have gotten two prawns in my double BM! Sorry Gini, I know this is getting off topic but this old geezer needs flashbacks now and then.

    "this old geezer"

Well I never! (well, rarely) Slick, you were the one in the elevator that after he said "some weird broad ["broad mind you] kept calling me in my room being weird!" YOU said, after raising your hand, "oh, that would be me" with a perfectly straight face. I needed Depends then more than the rest of the evening! Needless to say everybody on the elevator moved away That was BEFORE we even went to dinner

Are there going to be pets there? Also, I need to know some pet friendly hotels near there. I'm toying with the idea of coming but have to get some facts quickly so I can apply for the days off and get this thing going. I would hate to leave Duke at home all that time. I would miss him terribly.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Dang Val, I won't even bring my Badger Boy. I think the plane ride would be too much for your dear Duke too A long weekend is lovely for a single, with or without partner.. but dear Duke would not be a happy pup ) I really wish you could come but we will meet, of that I am sure

As much as I would love to say yes - if 27-28 people all brought their pets - or even 5 - 10 people - it would be too much for my backyard - and certainly asking a lot of the pets.

This is my home and the backyard is big enough for all of you, but not for pets too.

Aside from that Rascal, Annie and Emma live here...............3 orange kitties - and they just aren't the best host and hostesses to dogs.

All I can ask is that you understand.

I decided it would be too much for Duke(and me really) driving all that way. However, I am still toying with the idea of coming. I'm looking at packages now. The only thing is money. Isn't it always? I've got my income tax check and I'm trying to figure out how to get there.

If I just had a flight, that wouldn't be too much of a problem. That and the hotel bill is a bit much, I'm afraid. Plus having money for spending. Ug. Wish I was rich.
