Anna, you already know how very proud I am of you.
You and Mark both! It's such a great thing to accomplish, I only wish my parents could! Oh, and i'm sure you save soo much more money, which is good for the pups because that means they get more, right?

Congrats! I quit too, about 2 years ago, so I know how tough it can be.

Quitting smoking is an extremely difficult thing to do and I applaud anyone who has tried. Yes, you might slip now and then, but take one day at a time. You've both gone 10 weeks.....so now I know you can go another 10 weeks.....then another 10 months.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH OF YOU!!

Oh, Anna and Mark, that is fantastic!!! I am so happy for you, and so proud of you! Nearly five years ago I quit after smoking for 37 years so I know how hard it has been.

    Congratulations!!

Congratulations, Anna and Mark! You two have made the best decision. I've been smoke free for 23 years (January 31st, 1982). 10 weeks is quite an accomplishment. Keep it up!

Thank you all so very much!

I am quite proud of myself and of Mark too

It does seem to be easier now then it was in the beginning. I think just the habit of doing it at certain times or after certain tasks is the hardest (Get in the car...smoke, eat...smoke...etc.). But it is so much easier now, sometimes I hardly even think about it all day! But I'll tell you I have had some dreams about smoking

Well Mark is using the patches (NicodermCQ) and he is almost out of the 2nd step...WooHoo! Only 1 more step to go
But I more or less went cold turkey. There was a few days that I could not for the life of me figure out why I was so mean...duh so I did buy some of the gum (Nicorette). It did help but I think in total I chewed only 4-5 pieces of it and I have about 100 pieces left (if anyone is going to try and stop I'd be glad to send you what I have left!).

Just wanted to thank everyone again for being so supportive!
