Well....you know, Slick.....that's not entirely out of the question. Donna isn't that far away from me....and I could bring him to the BBQ for you to take home......? Then I could pick him(?) up a week or two ahead of time so I could have a kitten in the house again....for a week or two....maybe that would help break Terry of his silly two only cat rule.
    Yeah! Yeah!!!! PLEASE????????

I would love to. I don't know where you live though. I'm in Maryland, but I have friends/family in Florida, Ohio, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Virginia and New York if any of those are near you!

    Samantha Puppy,

ALLLLLLLLLLLL RIGHTY THEN!!!! Take your pick! I've got a fat, fluffy grey boy with 7 toes on his front feet, a black female (the smallest one who is such a sweetpea!!) with 7 toes on HER front feet, another black male with normal toes and a black female, medium SO SOFT fur (can't remember how many toes). I love them all!!!

The only thing I expect is that they be spayed/neutered, indoor only, updates on his/her progress and...absolutely, positively NO declawing!!!

Your hubby is gonna fall in love INSTANTLY!!!! I might suggest Reilly (the grey male). He's becoming a real lap kitty.

They'll be ready in about 2-3 weeks.

    I am SO excited!!!

1 down, 3 to go! Anybody else?????

Hmmm... I don't know. I currently have two boys. Do you think adding yet another male would be okay? Sushi is around 9 months old and Kirin is around 8 months old. I don't want any dominance issues. Kir and Sush seem to co-dominate, neither seems interested in lording over the other, and it's very pleasant.

Any animal in my house gets spayed or neutered, no questions asked. They are definitely indoors only as we live too close to a fairly busy road. Updates would be absolutely no problem. And I would never, ever put any animal I loved through the pain of declawing. So we're set there.

Now if we can just work out a transfer from Ohio to Maryland...

Kittens are easy to incorporate into a household. It's when you try to bring in an older male that problems MAY occur.

I think Reilly would be a great addition. He's such a sweet little thing who loves to sit in my lap being petted while the others crawl all over me like a jungle gym. But if you prefer one of the others, please feel free to let me know. I'm just glad I know he'll have a wonderful home!!

I'll post a thread about a transport needed to see who we can get. I can go to Ohio with no problem. I'll just need to make sure I don't have to work that night.

Thank you so much for adopting one of my babies! It puts my mind at ease.

With some polydactyl kitties, some have claws in between the toes which need CONSTANT checking! I've rescued a few cats with badly infected feet from inside claws growing into the paw pads. Congrats to Samantha Puppy on the 1st pick of the litter! I'd probably go with a female to not offset the harmony in your home.

I'm open to any of them really (though what QueenScoopalot scared me a little with the polydactyls...), I just would like to hear from more of the cat people what they think would be the best match. As I said above, Sushi is about 9 months old and Kirin is about 8 months. And don't forget I have a soon-to-be 3 year old dog, too. She varies between 50-55 lbs. Will your kitty be okay with that?

As far as which kitten to choose, I would listen to Donna. She made a great match with Doogie.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.
