got a question

Tom,our orange fuzzer/comfort kitty seems to like getting into the petroleum jelly.I am wondering if this is bad for him to digest/eat? He sneaks up when sees my wife using it or finds the container its in and spends hours opening it up.
any one know?

My dear Kali (who passed away this last August) used to attack the jar of Petroleum Jelly! She loved it so much that i would give it to her as a treat before bedtime. In fact, I think it is good for their digestive systems - if you catch my drift She never had a problem with eating it, mind you she never had it in large portions. Kali would sit there for what seemed like hours licking her chomps - it was so funny! I suppose it's sort of like feeding your dog bread with peanut butter
