East Coasters, Show us your Snow!

I only took a couple of pictures earlier today because it was still coming down and I didn't want to get the camera wet. I think we wound up with about 11-12" according to the news. Hubby just finished shoveling and fortunately one of our neighbors with a snow blower came to his aid. He was planning to get one this year and the weather was unseasonably warm so he never got around to it. Anyway, here are a few snowy day pics (I live about 10 miles south of Philadelphia).

Here are Bella and Ripley having a discussion about where to go potty.

I wanted to take a bag of trash outside but had my work cut out for me getting to the cans.

    C'mon! Show us your snow!

Hubby just took this picture a few minutes ago and I thought it was so cute. Bella is oblivious to the cold. Ripley, on the other hand, is ready to come in pretty much after he visits the potty.
Here she is down in the yard, but you can just see her head where some snow was cleared off the deck railing.

I can NOT even imagine having all of that snow in front of me, native Floridian that I am. I think I would have a blast romping through it though.

Oh my gosh, that picture in the second post is so funny. It looks like Belle is completely buried in snow. At least they gave us plenty of warning for this storm. We will try to get pictures in a little bit.

This just made me grin. This is looking out onto my from porch from the house this afternoon. This little guy usually faces out to the world, but the blizzard winds spun him around to face indoors. Doesn't he look satisfied with the storm results?

It was still snowing pretty heavily when it got dark, perhaps I'll manage more pictures tomorrow!

Feels cold enough to be snowing... but the only "snow" we have is our sugar sand!

Everyone's pictures are beautiful!!!! Despite the cold and the sometimes tough driving, snow is just sort of magical. Today when I was driving to work I was wishing for my camera. The sights were just awesome since the snow was still heavy on all of the trees and with the sun shining through it was just breathtaking. Of course on the way home it was a different story as it got above freezing and the melting has begun.
