    Foster Duke (Maine Coon Mix) Adopted Today!!!

    My foster who had previously been re-homed a few times finally got a forever home today! He came into my rescue terribly matted and with a tough guy attitude. (Due to insecurity from being declawed) I took him to my vet this week, who sedated him and gave him a belly shave all the way to his behind! He had gotten a messy and matted smelly bottom too! Poor guy did not understand the concept of cleaning oneself!

    Anyway .... he is now free from mats and poopballs, and living in Kentucky with a wonderful new family! They have just one other cat, Maine Coon mix just like him, and a 6 year old little boy to play with! Duke has settled down so much lately, and proven that he just wants love. Good luck Sweet Duke!

    Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.
