Help with Signatures

Hi - I just joined today. Silly question... but I noticed that many cute signatures include photos of your pets. I tried to personalize my autosignature but cannot get the "insert image" icon to work. Instead, I get a popup box that asks me to enter the URL of my image (which I don't have). Isn't there a way to browse my hard drive to upload the image, like I would when creating a new post? What am I doing wrong? Thanks!!

You will first need to upload the image to a image hosting website, such as
http://photobucket.com
http://zoto.com
http://imageshack.us

After you upload it, copy the url. Then paste it in your signature the way you were trying before
