Is it too small? *7 pics*

I got this crate the other day and I set it up today and it looks like it may be too small. I'm going to use it soley for classes -- Nova will be in it while Luka and Mandy are in class and Luka will be in it while Nova is in class (and Mandy will go to the car with my friend, she barks too much in a crate ). It's just for 50 minutes once a week, but do you think it's too small? When Nova stretched out in it her rump touched the back and her head touched the front.

She's been laying in it ever since I set it up. She obviously loves it!

I may go get the larger size, I just liked this size -- it's easier to transport. And it said it was for pets up to 70 lbs, and none of my girls are that large.

And a cute one of Luka just for good measure

looks like the perfect size to me, I think that most people just get crates that are way to big lol I know with my dogs if I give Misty the choice of her crate(dalmation size), the wire crate(doberman size), Blair crate(cocker spanial size), Ripley crate(terrier size) or the rabbits crate, well she chooses the rabbits crate lol dogs LIKE smaller enclosed areas, that the whole point of a crate, I know Happys favorite crate ever is Ripleys, and I figer if she was smaller and could actually fit in the rabbits crate she would choose that one lol

glad you kept it. Crates are essential to dogs because they act as their own den, therefore, they should only be able to turn around and lay down in it. (Although Niņo has clarks and so his is much too big

I think it is a little small BUT if that is all you are using it for I think it will work just fine.
But then again if you look into the future & think you may need it for traveling or the like and she may be in it for longer periods of time at some point in time it just may be worth it to take it back & get the correct size.

Where did you get it if you don't miond me asking. I'm looking for a soft sided crate for Kaige for training, shows & camping.

    Thanks everyone!

Sue, I got it from Petsmart for $115. It's simple, nothing fancy, but it's nice. The crate I wanted was a Cabanna crate, but everywhere I looked shipping was $60. The crate is already over $200 so I was not about to pay that!

I don't think its too small, she obviously likes it...and they won't be in it for that long, I really wouldn't worry about it.

Your girls are gorgeous though, Luka looks soo compfy!!!
