Crashing World-Loss of Shiloh

How very fitting it was for my computer to crash as my world was also crashing around me with the diagnosis and all too quick death of my Baby Girl Shiloh.
I am very sorry that I could not post to let you all know. I now have a new computer and can post a tribute to my Baby Girl.

Where do I begin?
Shiloh, you were always my strong one...the one I could count on to stand beside me before any challenge.
You were there to watch over and take care of your beloved Killian. You were always with him. He was never alone when he had an episode. You loved him best.
You were there to help us in our grief when Killian could no longer go on.
You were our second line of defense and then became our first line, by default.
You could make anyone happy, no matter what.
You were our happy girl, friend to almost all.
You were my footwarmer on both cold and hot nights. (I really miss that a lot, Shi.)
You were my "garbage disposal", there was no such thing as leftovers....til the end, dear Girl....when you could not eat for an entire week...nothing...and the Lord knows I tried everything.
You were the savior of bunnies, chipmunks and birds...stories were posted about that a long while ago.
You were our "fun dog"!
You were the star of obedience class and our escape artist at agility class.
You were a love from the first day you chose to come home with us.
I could go on and on, dear Shiloh....but I am crying too hard now...

I really wish that you did not have to leave us so quickly. I am having a hard time with that. I guess Killian could not wait to have you join him, so he called you and....you had to run to him. I see it now............both running through the fields of snow (there has to be at least some snow at RB) as you both did here in the backyard.

Run and play at Rainbow Bridge, my Angels.....til we meet again.

Sue I am not happy to hear about your computer problems, but at least I am relieved to know there was a reason you disappeared for a while. I have been worried about you .

Your tribute to Shiloh was beautiful. I think we all feel like we know her a little better through your words. I know there is no consolation but time is the best healer. You have been through so much in such a short period of time. I wish I could deliver these to you in person, but this will have to do. (((HUGS))) to you and your family. MAJOR LES here. What a beautiful tribute to both Killian and Shiloh. It's truly amazing how our pets become our children, and when they die, they leave a tremendous hole in out hearts.
