    Awesome Fall Colors

I believe last weekend was peak colors around here. I got some great pictures since we were camping. To me, it's just so interesting how different trees turn differently. Some trees are already bare, some are mostly bare, some are just beginning to turn, some are full color and some are still almost completely green! And these are all Maples I'm talking about! It was neat too, because the Black Walnut trees were mostly bare, but they were dropping their baseball size "nuts" and we almost got beaned a few times. Good thing we didn't park the motorhome under a Walnut tree or we'd have dents in the roof!

Ok, ok, on with the pics. These first ones are all the same tree. Sorry there are so many of the same tree, but it was my favorite tree and it seemed everytime I looked at it, it was a different color, and depending on which side of it I stood, it was a different color.

    The green side.

    The colored side.

Terry loved the all gold ones.

This one was just magnificent with the afternoon sun shining on it.

And here's me standing under the same one.

And this one had just barely started to turn way at the top.

And finally, here are two I took of the motorhome. Trying to play photographer here. The motorhome is blurry so I'm not really happy with how they turned out, but they're still cool pictures.

This is the exact same branch hanging down. Interesting how in one it looks really red, and the other it's really orangy.

That's all! We're going back to the same place this weekend, so I'll be able to see how much the colors change in just one week. I bet my favorite tree (the first one) will be almost bare.

My computer must be having problems because the images aren't loading for me. I really want them too, also, since Fall is my favorite season cause of the colors and I LOVE looking at pictures!

By the way....imagestation is geeking out today, so either have patience for the pictures to load, or come back a little later. If you get a red x, right click on it and click "show picture." It may come up or not, if not, check back later.

It's been acting up all morning, which is why it took me ALL morning to get these pictures up.

Oops, sorry Jessika, we must have posted at the same time.

Beautiful! Someday I'd love to actually see fall. I've always lived in mild climates so I've never seen trees like that before.
    I've been Defrosted!

Thanks for the great signature Kay!
