    Kayaking with Finn!

Ok, I took these on Friday, but, finally got them scanned. Ugh, I'm so spoiled with digital! I got a little sloppy on some of the scans, but, oh, well. And, we took the photos with a disposable, waterproof camera, so, they're not amazing. It was cool being able to drop the camera in the water to eachother, so, that we could get different views of Finn. Anyway, here he is, swimming alongside my friend, Brian, and, I as we kayaked. We kayaked a 1/2 mile out, and, then back. Finn did so well! He was a bit spastic at first, zigzagging between our two boats, and, not trying to keep up with us. We had to paddle slower than we normally would. And, he kept getting into the kayaks with us, probably three or four times. He never stays put very long, though, I have to work on that part of it. But, on the way back, he kept up with me almost the whole way! It was so funny, he almost got competitive about it! He didn't swim unnecessarily back and forth, either...just hard and straight, it was beautiful to see! Anyway, here are the photos from his first mile-long kayak "trip!"

While I got the kayak ready, Brian was putting his jetski up...

    on the jetski!

    swimming next to me...

sorry for the different sizes, that's weird...

swimming by brian...that small broccoli floret looking group of trees in the distance is an uninhabited small island, that's where we kayaked to...

I actually have a couple more, but, I have to remember where I put them. And, I'm going to resize those few big ones!

Hope y'all enjoyed! That was a good day!

Kari that looks like so much fun. Finn seems to be doing okay in his new life jacket.

The jacket doesn't slow him down or bug him at all! He lets me put it on him with no problem, and, it doesn't get in his way at all, it fits him well. He gets crazy now when I grab it! Even after only three times!

That looks like so much fun! I want to go kayaking sometime, but since I live in the middle of a desert I don't think that will happen anytime soon!

Well, anyone who needs a dose of water, just let me know. We've got room here for parched visitors. Glad y'all like the photos, it is really nice living on the lake like my parents do. It's certainly spoiled me. I'm hoping to move by the start of the new year, but, now I really want to stay on the lake!
