    It's Almost...........

    TWO YEAR GOTCHA DAY for Lola, and her only surviving baby Lita!
    She's become increasingly sweeter and less shy to the point of letting me scritch her constantly, and we've moved up to ~BELLY RUBS~!!! She has severe vision impairment (micropthalmia) but navigates quite well despite this. Happy GOTCHA Day Lola & Lita...officially tomorrow.

    I'll try getting some pics of Lita later...but she's always busy lol! And huge compared to her mama.

    Oh, her eyes does look bad. I hope they'll get better. Any chance of treatment? Nice to know she's with a good kitty meowmie, I'm sure you're spoiling her rotten. What a sweet girl!

    Oh, her eyes does look bad. I hope they'll get better. Any chance of treatment?
    Her eyes actually never looked better! She has a probable birth defect that (like Catlover4ever Meg's Gabriel) causes the eyes to be shrunken and undersized. Lola's made great strides in the last few months, but would never tolerate having anything put in her eyes. They aren't weepy lately as they often are which I'm quite happy about. She has limited vision in one eye, and sees not more than shadows with her other one...but she's safely off the streets, and happy at last.

    Go figure...today was the day the digital camera decided to die! New batteries put in, and nothing. And Lita was looking so cute on the back of the couch too. Oh well...good excuse for hubby to buy a new (and improved) one! He loves buying gadgets, and maybe we'll end up with one that takes videos too.
