I took Chica to the dog park today.

I took Chica to the dog park today. She does not like to be around other dogs she does not know.

She is so timmid and scared.
Chica was drooling at the mouth because she was so nervous. She also pooped 5 minutes after we got to the park because she was so nervous.
We left the park 20 minutes later because she deffinately didn't like it there. Chica likes to be with me and the family. She like to go to shopping malls with me and on walks with me.
But Chica doesn't feel comfortable around strange dogs.

Poor Chica. Well, at least you know what she does and doesn't like so you know how to entertain her in the future.

have she socialized a lot lately? maybe you can start off greeting new dogs at her house?

Sherry, sometimes I think Chihuahuas are so different from other breeds. Does anyone out there have a chi that adapts to other dogs easily? The girls are like that too. Chica is so cute. We always love seeing the little cutie patootie!!

I am sorry that Chica didn't enjoy herself. Ginger is a very timid girl too and does the drooling and loose stool thing when we go to the park. But as soon as we get to the dog cage and I get the ball out, everything else is forgotten. She is not even as afraid of the other small dogs as long as everyone is playing the "ball" game. If you wanted to take Chica there again to run around maybe if you took one of her toys she would feel better. But in any case, it was good that you tried, and you know that there are other adventures that she likes. She is a pretty little girl.

Thank you everyone. By the way I fixed my pictures in my thread. Chica loves to go to the mall and on walks, but dogs she doesn't know makes her a very nervous reck.

In my other pictures I have shown, she is very playfull with my nephew and my family members.

Awww...that's okay Chica. Sometimes it's more fun just hanging out with people. You're so lucky you can go to the mall! How fun!
