    Walk for the Animals

    Yesterday was our Humane Societies' Annual Walk for the Animals. I didnt get as many pictures as I would have liked, but but for being one person with three dogs, and trying to help man I booth, I didn't do too badly...

    A cute Dane (mix?) puppy


    I loved this dog's markings (Shocking, I know!)


    I wish I had gotten a better pictures of this...these Bulldogs belong to the dayschool where the kids go. They were so cute in their wagon!

    Hooray for you helping out your local Humane Society's annual event.
    Our Shelter had their 14th Annual "Walk for the Animals" this last May 7th and it was a big success..........this year we didn't get soaked [rain] like we did in 2004. It was cool and overcast--perfect.
    I always look forward to this event......'normally I would take my own dog--but since she is a bit dog/dog aggressive she sat this one out and I was able to "borrow" a beautiful dog from the shelter. He wore an "adopt me" vest.....and had a great time walking w/all the other dogs and people. I hated having to take him back after the event was over.

    I won't bore ya'll w/my photo's....but getting great shots of all the participants [we even had small ponies and a large tortise]is half the fun.
