    Samantha the babysitter (photos)

    Here are some recent photos of Samantha helping me out with the gerbils.

    Hey Samantha, want to help me watch the gerbils while I clean their cage?

    Well ok, but only if I get some cat treats when I'm done.

    Oh no! Samantha you're not watching them.



    Notice how rumpled and fluffy Samantha looks in this photo.

    When she wasn't looking, Brownie, the gerbil in the yellow ball rolled right over to her and ran over her tail!
    Poor Samantha and naughty Brownie!

    Samantha is such a good watch cat! And pretty cute while she's at it too.

    Most,of the Found Cats,would see the Gerbils,as a curiousity,but I am afraid,the Princess,Michael,Roscoe,and Nugget,would see them,as Gerbil Mc Nuggets!They were Feral Cats,and Very Good Hunters.And Scrappy 2,ia one hell,of a mouser,she used to leave ,them,on the porch.

    Vermotcat, I got a great laugh from this story. Always enjoy seeing Miss Samantha as she is so pretty but I especially liked seeing her in "action"!!!!! LOL And I really chuckled at the one gerbil rolling right over her tail!!! Maybe I'm just easily amused, but to me that was just hilarious!

    Thanks everyone.
    Samantha really is good with the gerbils, she knows to "look but not touch".
    Brownie is a troublemaker, several times now she has "hit and run" Samantha and made her hide.
    She really has no fear of Samantha when she is in her bubble ball.
    Chocolate is better at keeping a safe distance away from Samantha and checking her out but not running her over.

    Erin, my rabbit, takes advantage of the fact that my cats will run away from her if she even goes near them. Erin ends up chasing them down the hall or off the my lap
