Dawn says 'Thank you Aunt Sandra!' for the wonderful Christmas gifts she sent.

I put the rope toy in her cage. I didn't get a picture of it but today she was nibbling and playing with the rope tassle

I took a few of her preening. She just went through a molt so she has bits of feather dust on her still




Then she had to get some head scritchies of course






"Mmmmm that feels so good!"

How sweet! She will love that rope toy, Jess. Karen (K9 Karen) sent a wonderful one to us during a "swap" a while back and for a while, mine were afraid of it, but Bennie got brave and started climbing all up in it, chewing on it, and the other two decided not to miss out on it! I'm thinking of sending it with Amber when Bennie meets up with her later this week since he is the one who seems to love it the most.

Logan, she was a bit dubious when I first put it in her cage too but she got curious about the rope after awhile. She hasn't played with the wood shapes yet but she loves to nibble on things so I suspect she will at some point!

Sandra, Dawn has never been interested in ANY toy. She's shown more interest in this one than anything I've tried so I'd say you hit the nail on the head

Oh my gosh!!! I'm SO sorry I missed these!!!! I was unable to log onto PT all last week because my cousins were visiting.

Dawn sure is a LUCKY bird to get such wonderful gifts from her Auntie Sandra. I know she loved them. Wonderful gifts, wonderful pictures, and BEAUTIFUL birdie as always. Kisses to sweet Dawn.
