    Giblet - Newest Foster

I know I haven't been here is quite a while - but I have been so busy with the new organization, fostering, transporting, etc. I did want to touch base with everyone and let everyone see my newest foster Giblet. She was found as a stray around Thanksgiving - hence the name. She is very sweet and will make a great pet for anyone. She is about 6 months old, so she is going to be a pretty large dog. She has been going to Doggie Daycare and just loves playing with other dogs. A member of our organization runs a dog daycare center where she allows foster dogs to go for free. She also has no cat aggression issues. We are working on some basic manners as she has the typical puppy behaviors - jumping, playbiting, pulling. She is a lover - just wants to stick her head in your arms for pets.

This is my favorite picture of her so far

    Here she is playing

This is a sign of a caring foster parent:

Is that a TV for the pupper?

Hehe Yes it is (although it is also for me when I spend time up there). My son used to live in the upstairs of my house. Now it is empty, so I converted it into a foster area for dogs and cats. There are two rooms and a bathroom, so I pulled up the carpet, layed down tile and am going to buy used furniture for them to lay on. That way I can have an area where they can be isolated either because of medical reasons or a safe place until I can introduce them into the household (My Penny girl is problematic and needs to get introduced very slowly). I will probably eventually get some type of music system for up there, but in the meantime I put a TV up there for noise.

    Ohhhh How cute!!!!!!

If I were to leave a TV on the floor, my pups would have the cords chewed on in a SECOND!!!
What a good girl to leave them alone!!!

    A couple of more pictures

Took a couple of pictures of Giblet and Leo playing outside yesterday. As you can see her and Leo are getting along fine - Penny however, is another story. We are working on it though.

Looks like Giblet will be adopted shortly. We still have to do a home visit, but all the references checked out wonderfully. I am very happy that she has found a home, because if she is with me much longer - I'm not going to be able to give her up!!

Clara, I'm so happy that Giblet already has a great prospective new home! She is just adorable. Give her a hug from me, and while you're at it, give Miss Penny Lane one too. Sounds like she needs it!
