    Cinny's Ducky

I think I am changing my foster Cindy's name to Cinny. It fits her a lot better

She found a little duck toy last night and has claimed it as her own. It makes a quacking sound and I think she thought it was real. She started carrying it around whining. Every time I made it quack, she'd whine and lay on him to warm him up. She chases all the cats away if they get near. I put it in her crate and she's in there protecting it and her little stuffed dog toy too.

She has tons of beds, but this one pair of my pajama pants under the computer desk is her favorite to sleep on

She gets cold easily so she usually wears this sweater in the morning and evening

Oh Cinny is adorable . It could very well be her hormones playing up on her after her surgery, it looks and sounds as though she is mothering the duck, the way she is all cuddled up on it and is prefering to stay under the desk.

How has she been getting on? I hope she is feeling better after her surgery.

Yeah, I was actually surprised she did this because she hadnt shown any other motherly instincts before. I was afraid she'd miss her puppies I asked the vet about depression from not having puppies, but they said that was highly unlikely. Usually they get the depression if they have the babies and then they're taken away. Since she never saw them, they said she should be okay. She's been doing GREAT since surgery. She runs around here like a little jackrabbit. Its all I can do to keep her still! I was surprised with how well she did and what a quick recovery she made. She's bouncing around like crazy! She doesn't really lay under the desk too much. She only did for a little bit with the duck. When the duck stopped quacking for 5 minutes, she came back out to find more trouble

What a sweet story. I would love to be there to see it. I'll bet she'd have been a great mommy dog. She's got a diverse family there with a duck and a dog to love.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
