    More pics of Dawn!

I just can't resist, I've gotten a cute picture here and there of Dawn over the last couple weeks and I wanted to share a few of the ones I thought were particularly cute. She just loves her jungle gym and she's actually a bit less clingy than she used to be, which I like because I can get pictures of her more easily now that she isn't glued to my shoulder constantly. Here they are:

She climbs up and down her ladder between millet and whatever veggies are in her dish

    ----

I threw a few cornflakes in her goodie dish and she picked one up to eat it

    ----

    Taking a bath

    ----

    Contortionist!

    ----

    Checking out my coffee

    ----

She knows how to make me stop working to give her some scritchies... while I'm typing she plants herself on top of my work related papers and sticks her head out over the keyboard so that it's almost impossible to type

    ----

She trusts me so much now compared to when I first got her. She used to freak out when I put my hand over her back but now she just sits there and pushes her head into my hand indicating she wants scratches

    ----

I like this one, she's such a little sweetheart. I just love her so much!

Please excuse the dark splotch on my thumbnail in a couple of the pics.. it's not dirt it's where I hurt my thumb earlier this spring and it used to be at the bottom of the nail bed. Now it has grown out to where it is but I can't get the dark spot off until I cut the nail off

    Hope you enjoyed!

What a sweet girl! Roger is the only one that will let me give him head rubs like that, but I'm working on Bennie to make him more trusting, hopefully. Milly is cautious and I am must not going to push her.

I'm so glad to see Dawn, and I love how you did the millet on her ladder. I'll have to try that. I think I'm going to suggest to Scott that he put an edge on our gym too, so I can put some litter in there to help with the poop problem!

    Great pics, all around, Jessica!!!!

Awwww!!!!!!!! Its BEAUTIFUL DAWN!!!!! She's gorgeous, Jessica, and those are some sweet pictures!!! Wow! She knows how to hold food in her foot? I've NEVER seen a cockatiel do that! My tiels sometimes hold their toys with their feet, but never food. That is too cute!! What a sweetie Dawn is! Be careful about her getting too close to the coffee though.

I want to give that sweetie pie head scritches. She's too cute. Muffin loves head scritchies too.

Thanks guys Actually I should have clarified that there was just a bit of coffee left in the bottom of the mug and it was cold (which is why I wasn't drinking it anymore ) She doesn't come out till I'm done with my coffee since I don't want her trying to get into it while I'm drinking it

She has picked up sunflower seeds with her foot before and an almond, plus the cornflake.

Logan I like the litter, it clumps up like kitty litter sort of, easier to clean up than wiping it off a surface. I still use newspaper in her cage though.

She just loves being touched and getting head scritchies, she always turns her head so I can get her chin and under her beak, closes her eyes in pure bliss

What a cutie! Dawn is beautiful! I love the picture of her with her little head in the coffee cup. Piper likes to hold food/toys in his feet, too. So did all of my mom's tiels when she had them. I didn't think it was uncommon for them to do so at all.

    Great pictures, Jess!

You know when I think of it, Dusk used to sometimes use his feet when eating but not as often as Dawn, and Twi never did that I saw. Guess it varies from bird to bird
