Pregnancy and the color Pink....

Let me begin by saying that I hate the color pink. I think it is fowl and ugly and way too girly. I have gone so far as to forbid my family members from buying anything pink for my baby (who may or may not be a girl) Wanna-be-pink colors such as "Mauve", "Dusty Rose", and "Bubble Gum" are also strictly prohibited... So why is is that I am irresistably drawn to anything pink in the maternity section??? It must be the pregnancy hormones or something.. I have bought 5 maternity shirts since finding out that there is a bun in my oven, 4 are some shade of pink. Is it a sign that the end of the world is near? Or is it just that I'm so darn thrilled to *finally* be starting to fill up the whole "A" size cup on my bras. Could it be that something so strictly feminine as pregnancy is making me want to *dress* girly??? Ah well, I'm told pink looks good on me, and I'm pregnant, so I'm allowed to act wierd Maybe once the baby arrives I will go back to my normal pink-hating self

Despite hating pink you look great in those shirts! The color really does look good on you. And I agree, you're pregnant so you're allowed to like things that you would normall hate

LOL... pink looks great on you! Do not feel bad, my SIL hates red, but while she was pregnant the first time, she painted her livingroom tomaot red..Yuck.. even then she knew it was the pregnancy hormnes talking. she still has that ugly red livingroom because she never found time after the baby to change it!

Haha, it must be something in the pregnancy hormones! I normally hate pink too, but I find it so attractive when I am pregnant.

My sister was the opposite... Lol.

She didn't buy any maternity clothes that were pink, and she didn't really want us to buy any pink clothes for my niece either..

But normally she LOVES the color pink.

I also think you look great in pinks Missy! Sheesh-I have probably influenced her negatively because I LOVE pink myself and kept her in pink until she could choose her own clothes. Maybe I overdid it I still love every shade of pink.
