Baby is gorgeous! What a cutie pie! I've posted plenty of pics of Dawn lately, but this one is one of my favorites from awhile back (sorry too lazy to crop it tonight):

She is called a cinnamon pied pearl. Pied is a grey + lutino cross and then of course the pearl is with the spots on the wings and cinnamon means that her "grey" markings have sort of a light brown cinnamon color to it. She's considered a triple "mutation." Odd word for it, but that's what it's called.

This link kind of explains it and shows another example.

Hmm sort of although she is just a blend of different coloring, not a blend of different breeds. A yellow lab bred with a black lab can have a mixed litter in color but they aren't mutts . There are actually LOTS of different mutations out there. You can do a search on cockatiel mutations and see all kinds of different colorings

I have a Pied Cockatiel named Piper. He's over a year old.

Here are some pics of my boy..

    He loves head scratchies.

My autn Debbie used to have a tiel. His name was Joey. He looked like alot like baby. They have tons of tiels at the petstore, in the old rabbit/guinea pig pen where you could pet them, the moved tiels and budgees in there and sometimes they somehow flutter over(there wings are clipped) and the tiels beat the crap outta the budgees, it's a sin! I try to save them byt scaring away the tiels while trying to catch the budgee but the budgee is too fast and the tiels lunge at ya! It's hectic and a sin!
