The Culture Clash by Jean Donaldson (Excellent training book)

This isn't really a dog book but it does relate to the way to train dogs.. Don't shoot the dog by Karen Pryor.

If you like mysteries, I recommend the Bloodhound series by Virginia Lanier.

A book called "Snake's don't miss their mothers."

It's an AWESOME novel, that i just finished reading. It's about these animal's being in a shelter, and it's like the point of veiw from them.

    I recommend it.

    Some of my favorites are:
Bones would rain from the sky--it's a training book

Honest dogs & My lead dog was a lesbian-both by Brian O'Donaghue. One is about the Quest and one the Iditarod. Hilarous!

I highly recommend "Pack of Two" by Caroline Knapp (I'm pretty sure that's her name). I heard of that book on PT, when I bought it I didn't put it down til I was finished.

Also, the book that tells about the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah is fabulous.

I love the book Canine Caper, its really sad but rewarding the end. It's about a lady that is trying to rescue neglected dogs.

edit: oops just realized that someone already posted Canine Caper.

I also highly recommend that book! Here's more info about it so it will be easier to find...the full title is Best Friends: the true story of the worlds most beloved animal sanctuary. It's written by Samantha Glen.
