    NEVER!

I would never do it. It just looks so tacky on them. Poor dogs! There fur shouldn't have to be a fashion statement.

    No. I think that's ridiculous.

WHY would someone ever want to do that.

I know! I agree! If you want something bright and obnoxious, buy a crazy sweater or something...a dog isn't a fashion statement...in my opinion.

No. That borders on torterous. The thing is they claim to love them I bet, but you don't put your dogs through something so unpleasant like that if you love them (unless of course it's for their own good...medicine, surgery etc.).

I dont' think it would harm the dog's. I also think it is un-fare for you to say they don't love them just because they had a little fun with the color of there fur.

I personally would never do it to my dog's but I dont' see it as being Torute or inhumane?

I have put food die on rabbits, is this also inhumane??? (I used it to tell which white bunny is which)

Hey folks, you can't be sure that the dogs were even dyed - the color could have been added after the photo was taken. If it doesn't harm the dogs, I don't see any problem with it, especially if it was faked afterwards!

Just to answer the original question -- I'd never do that to my dog or any future dogs.

I would never do that to a dog! I don't think its mean to do that but i think it looks weird, I'd rather have a natural looking dog.

    I would! Don't hit me!

Actually, I did once, but I probably wouldn't again. In highschool, we shaved our family dog Scooter and gave him a pink mohawk. People would point and laugh at him and Scooter literally got super depressed. He would not play or be happy until we shaved the mohawk off. Dogs aren't stupid. They know when people are making fun of them.

But I did see a shaved chow at petsmart the other day that had a blue mohawk on his head. He held it with pride and it looked very cute!

    Thank you Wolfie!
