    Bad Cats!

I have 5 cats. I love them ALL so much, but they are driving me nuts, and I don't know what to do, I don't want to get rid of them so I deserately need some advice...

LuLa (3) is peeing in the house, she keeps peeing on the couch (I keep having it stream cleaned) She was peeing on the throw pillows and Throw blankets and I eventually had to get rid of them all...Also, when the kids have chairs or bean bags up in the loft she pees on them, and any bankets that are left out by the kids. Also, Lula has been chewing on wood (our bedroom set) and chewing on our cell phones and pagers...

Tressen (2) Keeps beating up on our newest cat that my son found "Alley" (f, around a year old) He chases her all around the house and she hides under our bed and won't come out. If she gets on top of the bed he attacks her. He waits near the bed just waiting for her... She was missing for 2 weeks and I think it was because of him. We found him a couple years ago, I think people had thrown him over our neighbors fence to let him die. He was about 4 weeks old and completly emaciated, he did/does fine with the other cats this has just recently become a huge problem. Also, he is really vocal and whines constantly (which is why we heard him in the bushes) but is there any way to get him to be quiet?

Sailor (3) LuLa's brother. Has become mean to Alley and Lula. Chasing and biting them. I thought he was just playing with LuLa then they would start occasionally fighting but now it is becoming a habit.

Johnny is 7 and he Barfs up 1/2 eaten cat food with hair in it all the time, Is this normal? He weighs about 17 pounds so I know he isn't starving...

Alley is just cute and cuddly, but very skinny, and I can't get her fattened up, any suggestions?

All are fixed and front decalwed except for Alley(I can't tell if shes been fixed but no heat or preg yet) The dog and birds get along with all the cats. I can use any advice you can give me! Thanks!

    cat behavior

    Hi Shari:

I have a cat that is like Sailor in behavior. She is a domestic female and she fights with a cat I've had about 4 months. She also fights with a Siamese I own. This female is tempermental. She swats at me sometimes.

Have you ever owned a Siamese? I am convinced they have a stronger temperment. They behave very cooly. I also owned a cat that bit me (he was a domestic also). Do you run into this? I find domestics do not get along with kids. A former domestic hissed at my son.

We also had problems with a cat urinating outside his box. He was doing it in my sons room. Is this cat that urinates a kitten?
We had problems with kittens having accidents.

    Lets correspond further about this.

Just a suggestion but try a product called Rescue Remedy which you put in their drinking water. I know others have had success with it helping to calm everyone down so they can get along. Also, I use Felliway Spray and Plug Ins to help calm my neutered male who decided to start spraying my new carpet and painted wall. I think the new stuff in the house was the final straw. He was already stressed from adding our third cat to the house a couple months earlier. You can buy these products at most pet stores. I got Feliway at PetsMart.

    Good luck!
