    My trip to Disneyland

Alexa and I just got back from our trip to Disneyland. I had a lot of fun, I hadn't been there in around 15 years! So much had changed, there were so many new rides that I was excited to go on. The weather was so nice, it was cool in the morning and evening. It was a little warm during the day but nothing compared to Arizona heat. Overall it was a wonderful trip except that my feet and legs got so tired from walking all day

The most important picture is of course the one with Mickey Mouse!

    Here's one I took during a parade

This is me on Autopia. When you go on it they give you a fake drivers liscence and on mine it said that I won a prize! I got a cute little model chevron car that looked just like the one I was riding on.

Here I am on the teacup ride

Me and Alexa on the carrousel.

The It's a Small World Ride.

Oh I went there a couple years ago, so much fun! The rides I remember are: Autopia, Madderhorn Mountain (I think...), Splash Mountain, It's a Small World, Pirates of the Carribean of course!, Indiana Jones, the mini roller coaster in the new park, the grizzly river run in the new park, and there are more. Man I had a BLAST there! Only...we stayed at the Courtesy Best Western hotel....WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE...lets just say...ANTS

DisneyLand is the best. We try to go a couple times every year, since we're pretty close to it.

Looks like you had fun! Great pictures, Laura.

Those pictures bring back so many memories for me. I do hope I get a chance to see Disneyland when I'm down for the BBQ next month. I'm it's been at least 15 years for me.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Thanks everyone!

I was so worried my hotel was going to be like that. We stayed at the Alamo Inn and it was pretty cheap and within walking distance to the park. It was a little run down for for $56 a night it was a great deal. Thankfully I didn't see any bugs in the room and it had cable Alexa and I were both very excited about that since neither one of us has it at our house. It's always a nice treat when we get to watch some television.

Looks like you two had loads of fun! I have never been to Disneyland.

My daughter is wanting to go there with her fiancee, so maybe they will get to visit it then.

    Loved your pictures!

Ugh the Best Western was the WORST! My brother and I were gong to go in the hot tub one night, and it was FREEZING COLD! Their Orange Juice was SO DISGUSTING you could see the line that separated the stuff. My mom said that they just heated up the old coffee from the other day and said it was sick. We couldn't use the shower because of some water problem, the TV didn't work, and there were ants everywhere. We went to the park, and when we came back, there was a doughnot on the table from breakfast and ants were all over it. They were in my brother's bag, all his souvenirs, in the BEDS it was NASTY!

Edit: I know what you mean about television! Well, it goes like this. We had Bell ExpressVu, but then we turned it off. However, they didn't cut our TV off, but they weren't sending us any bills, so they obvisouly had made a mistake. So we got free TV for about a year. Anywho, last November, they cut us off! We hadn't had TV for over 7 months, and yesterday I come home from school, to see CABLE! We had never had cable on that TV, that I can remember, and it was so weird seeing all the channels! Usually you'd just go to channel 4, and then go to your channels like 798 or whatever on Guide. But we have cable, as of yesterday and its so exciting! 7 Months! Lol...of topic, but I had to share lol.

Awesome - I'm glad you had a good time! I went to Disney World and Disney Land when I was younger. I really want to go back to Disney World, but it will have to be dead of winter.
