An appeal for a B&W in NEED

Anyone out there have a little extra love to give an old guy a beautiful sunset to his life?

His name is Checkers, and he is a B&W (possibly Tuxie) and he's a part of Siamese Rescue. There in, lies the problem. He was a companion cat to a Siamese cat both turned in by the original owners together. The Siamese was returned by the person who adopted them from SR, but they kept Checkers. Then, finally, they returned Checkers.
Truth is, he's not got much of a chance of getting adopted, he may be as much as 18 years old, diabetic, and may have inappropriate urination problems. (and it's kitten season, and everyone wants a kitten)

Looking for someone to give him comfort and love in what time he's got left, which may not be long.

They really work wonders with cats at the Virginia center, where's he's located.
If anyone wants to ask me a question about him, I can find out the answer for you.

Please check out his photo at siameserescue.org

ID#: VA1249 Checkers at the Virginia Center

Come on Tuxie lovers, give this poor guy a brief moment of the time in your life.

Is Checkers an insulin dependent diabetic cat or is it controlled with diet?

His bio says: injections twice a day.

The rescue may be able to help with the cost of these, not sure.
Because, they have to give them to him anyway for the rest of his life.

Gee, wish I could take him and I would if it were not for how I work.. He is a VERY SPECIAL needs kitty and I could give him his injections with no problems with all the love in the world that he wanted... To be so old and tossed aside like that.. gee, heartbreaking and so unfair!!

Is he still looking for a home? So so sad! I wish I could do something. I'm afraid with my work schhedule though, I wouldn't be around to give injections. How can somone abandon an old guy like that? He must be lonely...any pictures by chance?

    Go to:

    www.siameserescue.org

    Go to: Siamese Available

    Then:

    He's at the VA center.

I can't take their pictures off of there.

I know there is someone out there for him.

Someone recently adopted a cat with cancer.
