Very Funny

To those of you who either work or volunteer in a shelter or rescue and have had the following comments made to you:

• I want a dog that is totally housetrained and will never go in the house.
  
• I need a dog that never sheds.
  
• I need a dog that won't ever jump on me.
  
• I need a dog that I won't have to spend a lot of money on.
  
• I need a dog that doesn't need any exercise.
  
• I need a dog that always does what I tell it to.
  
• I need a dog that doesn't eat much.
  
• I need a dog that (fill in the blank with an unrealistic requirment)

One of the volunteers finally got frustrated and posted this on their petfinder pages. I personnally thought it was hilarious.

I'm sure it does get frustrating every day--I love the petfinder ad.

I think it would have been even funnier had she not put a picture up of "Fluffy"--can you imagine how many calls she would have gotten???

that is too cute! I'm printing it to bring to a couple shelters I volunteer at.

Hey maybe it will improve sales in the gift shops at the shelters, they sell dogs just like that!
