Samantha (Dog of the Day 8/10/03) Update

Samantha was Dog of the Day on August 10, 2003. Since so many people said such nice things about her, I posted these pictures in her Dog of the Day thread, but then someone suggested I post them here as well. So here you go, very recent pictures of my beautiful puppy girl, Samantha.



















I hope you don't mind me putting up more pictures of her. She's just such a big part of my life and I love to brag about her.

Never be sorry to post pictures! I love to see pictures of other peoples furbabies. And I love to brag about my furbabies too. I have five at home and I cannot imagine my life without them.

Edit: I'm Jaime. I'm 25 and Samantha is MY first dog. Our family had a dog while I was growing up - a poodle mix named Rags - but Samantha is the first dog that has ever been mine (well... and my fiance, Josh).

Izzy is a city girl now. She lives in Baltimore. She came out for their birthday party in June though, so the girls still get to see each other.

Hi, folks. I'm brand new to Pet Talk and am so happy to have "found" you!!! I absolutely adore furpersons of all stripes and am thrilled to hear from so many others that feel the same way. The photos of Samantha put a smile on my face that stretched from ear to ear! I couldn't believe my eyes as I scrolled through her pics. Each one was more precious than the one before!!! What an absolute doll. Obviously born to be photgraphed. As they say in the movies - the camera really loves her!

Oh yeah, Izzy drove out from the city and she and Sam had a great time catching up. Izzy's mom made liver treats and I was bad - I made cupcakes (funfetti!). I also got a pretty pink tablecloth and a couple of my friends came over and we had a barbecue. The neighbor that rescued them came over with steaks she bought for them and we grilled them up for the girls. They had an awesome time. Samantha slept good that night!!!

I will check out the other birthday threads! I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that - my fiance had me thinking I was nuts!
