Why do you want this breed?
Check out your local shelter, or Devon Rex Rescue organization to adopt from there.
Until you convince you parents, both you and all of your family can take the time learning all about cats and the care and time that they need.

well actually, i have been doing research on the breed for months now, i'll quote information when we go to stores to show my mom i kno all about them, i have pics all over my room, i've done everything! but all they say is, well i don't like cats. how am i supposed to respond to that?

Wait until you are living on your own.
You can then carpet your new house with wall to wall cats, like me ?
