    Old English Sheepdog

    I am about to be the proud owner of and Old English Sheepdog. Imported from Guatamala. There may be others for adoption if anyone is interested. Does anyone have any suggestions on taking care of this type of puppy? I was told it may be 6 to 7 hours of grooming per week.

    CONGRATS on your new baby and WELCOME to Pet Talk!!!

    You're getting a wonderful breed! I would love to have one someday too I think your biggest challenge will be the grooming because other than that, they seem like perfect dogs.

    Is that attachment you posted a pic of your other dog? What a cutie!

    Is your new pup going to be male or female?

    What about Shasta? Goes well with the name Shandy I think.

    I hope to get a male. Shandy is an extremely sociable young dog and I work 9 hours away from the house so she would love to have someone to play with. I hope....l
    Thinking about an English name Sir Raleigh or something like that.

    The attachment is of my Shandy. I don't know how to set up a signature with pictures the way you people have done. I'm knew to this type of communications.
    Does anyone out there own a sheepdog?
