Neon Fish

Does anyone here own Neon Fish?First time I saw them I thought they where really cool and wondered if there was any specail needs for them....Iv only had a beta fish so im not realy certain what kinds of things I would need for a Neon Fish....

are the neon fish the ones that U can see the bones and see through them because we owned those

Yes...u can see through them and they have a neon color in them......

I used to have neon tetras. They glow under black light.

They need a heater and a filter. They are also schooling fish, and you need to have a few of them, probably at least four to six.

They eat regular flake fish food, although you can buy special color food for tetras that bring out their colors more.

I have owned neon fish before (i didnt remember what they were called) My neon fish lived quite a long time(cant be exact) and we just fed them normally and I cant list any Special needs except like all fish room to swim, I definatly think U should get some, When I someday get more fish I am certinaly getting some of those They are cool to see................. my cat would sit at the fish tank and his eyes would go back and forth watching them LOL

I want to get a beta fish please tell me about them

Beta Fish-You cant have two or more in one tank because they fight to the kill....they dont need a pump or anything like that....they are really easy to care for fish!all they need is a fish tank with of course water in it and food!they are beautiful fish as well!I will send you a pic of the tank we had our Beta in.....these things that I have listed are all the basics..but will give you more info!

The neon tetra ahhhhhhhh one of the more prettier tetra's yes they are schooling fish which consists of 3 or more fish adn they are egglayers in case you see eggs in your tank. if you need more info you can go to the fish part of petsmart.com which is where i get all my fish info or fishprofiles.com which just updated theirselves and is a really nice website.
