Dearest Echo, you are enchanting indeed! What an utterly beautiful Ferret you are, with that gorgeous almost-all-white coat that looks so soft, and that sweet face with that cute big pink nose and those long, some LOOOOONG mostly-white whiskers and the lovely big dark eyes. You are so cute in both of those great photos, outside enjoying the grass, and thank you for sharing them with us!
And what a terrific story you have to tell! Your dear parents-to-be were looking for ferrets and came across you and your dear brother Kilo. They decided to give you adults a home rather than buy young ones from a pet store, and I am so very glad and grateful that they did that! You were not in great shape when they brought you home, so they changed your food and fed you things to fatten you up. Now you are "a super energetic fat happy and wiggly ferret and ... an amazing little guy."
You have the most delightful personality and make them laugh with your antics and energy. You like to explore cabinets, and your favorite game is to hide all the squeaky toys under the couch - or anything you can carry, including the bath tub stopper! Your cutest trick is sitting up like a meerkat when your person brings you treats. Then, after you've burned off your energy and you settle down, you're super-cuddly and watch TV with your parents until bedtime. They are so glad they brought you boys home, and they look forward to coming home to you each day. You all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Echo, on being chosen Pet of the Day! We hope you and your dear Kilo and parents and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. And maybe we will meet Kilo as Pet of the Day some day!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
