You can tell it getting closer to Christmas.... I went to run an errand and I could see that the parking lots to the malls and stores have more cars in the parking lot.

The Orc has been making tamales since yesterday...

We have red and green chicken, beef and green pork tamales. There are also sweet tamales - pineapple, walnut and raisin, too.

P.S. At 10 minutes after 9 am the temp is 2F with a wind chill of -16F!

It was cold but I still managed to run 4 miles (6.47 km). Thanks to all who shovelled their walks!

Holy smokes, made Jamaican rum pudding today. Tomorrow lemon meringue tarts...then Christmas Day. I am going to try and look as hot as possible and enjoy the family. Kinda sorry the two Jamaican peeps in our family won't be there to critique the pud, as they would most surely be the best judges eh?
