Dearest Pepper, what a lovely, sweet Tuxedo girl you are! You are so pretty with your big green eyes so full of love and your thick white whiskers and your long black tail and your pink paw-pads. What nice photos you've posted! That's a lovely black and white shot of you and your two sisters looking out at the yard. I wish I could reach through the screen to Orange County to pet you all! But since I can't, I know your loving and beloved Purrrents will pet you all a lot for me
.
And what a great story you have to tell! You were so shy at the shelter, but you knew right away who your new daddy was and adopted him right away. You have come a long way out of your shyness since you got home, haven't you. You love to play with your two kitty sisters, and you love to be held and cuddled, even if only for a few minutes. You enjoy eating and watching the goings-on outside through the window and sleeping on your Kitty City crinkle mat. You bring so much joy to your humans! What a delightful love-filled home you all share.
Congratulations, darling Pepper, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your two kitty sisters and your Purrrents and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
