What a lovely tuxedo lady you are, Pepper! No one would ever guess now you were ever a scared, hungry kitten alone on the San Pedro docks, thank goodness you were rescued. We do not blame you one bit for being shy, have been alone in such a busy, noisy place!You knew who the right human was that day at the shelter - we know you used your special kitty intuition to realize he was a human who would make sure you were never scared or hungry again! We are so glad you have your kitty sisters to play with too! It is great you have become the happy, loved kitty you were always meant to be! Congratulations, Pepper, you are Cat of the Day!

This just warms my heart. My son and I rescued two just like her, one was really lovable and one was shy. However after Nick went to college the Shy one lived up to her name, Cuddles, guessing she missed him and became very affectionate, on her terms. We had to let her go after 16 years, miss her every day. The loving one, Tula, was killed by a car. Black and white kitties are very very intelligent, as Pepper grows you will see for youselves. Our Ben-Gal was featured last Fall, so proud of her as she keeps me company every day.

Dearest Pepper, what a lovely, sweet Tuxedo girl you are! You are so pretty with your big green eyes so full of love and your thick white whiskers and your long black tail and your pink paw-pads. What nice photos you've posted! That's a lovely black and white shot of you and your two sisters looking out at the yard. I wish I could reach through the screen to Orange County to pet you all! But since I can't, I know your loving and beloved Purrrents will pet you all a lot for me .

And what a great story you have to tell! You were so shy at the shelter, but you knew right away who your new daddy was and adopted him right away. You have come a long way out of your shyness since you got home, haven't you. You love to play with your two kitty sisters, and you love to be held and cuddled, even if only for a few minutes. You enjoy eating and watching the goings-on outside through the window and sleeping on your Kitty City crinkle mat. You bring so much joy to your humans! What a delightful love-filled home you all share.
