    Bandit

    Do you remember the Great Pyrenees rescue my parents adopted? He has fluid in his chest (Pleural effusion) and they don't know the cause. He has had an ultrasound, but the area around his heart was too hard to diagnose. Tomorrow he is going to the same specialist who did Killian's liver ultrasound. Bandit will be undergoing an Echocardiogram. If that is inconclusive, than a Spinal CAT scan will be ordered for next week. Please say a prayer for him.

    Again, I really, really, really should have been a vet.

    Oh Sue I am so terribly sorry. I will keep Bandit in my thoughts and prayers. Have they ruled out congestive heart failure? Thats what Peka has and that causes fluid to be in their chest.
