    Brandi gone, but never forgotten

Brandi passed away this evening. She was 4 years and 7 days old. The was one of four babies born in my house. She was a golden in color and fun to be around. Her two Sisters and her brother still live with me. Her mom passed away last October. It appeared she passed away peacefully with no pain. I found her lying on a blanket and only a few hours earlier she was laying beside me getting petted.
She would get in my lap and tap me in the face while I was working on the computer. And taking time out to pet her with one hand wasn't good enough she had to have both!!! She was always socialable come to get on my lap for easter dinner with my mother and my aunt. Even today she was liking her treats.
Her and her siblings mean a lot to me they were born on my late grandmothers birthday, just a month after moving into the house.
She loved her treats, and as much attention as you could give her. When her and her sister Bailey were little I couldn't tell them apart then they and you could not seperate them. She was a momas girl and I could tell she missed her when she passed away.
Brandi was always a smaller cat. But last fall I noticed her sliming down. I took her to the vet and we were unable to find out what was going on and we decided to try something to see if she would eat. But it was unsucessful.
She will be missed sleeping on the pillow next to me.

Rest in peace, lovely one. Your dad was so worried about you, and we are sorry you left this earth so young, but at least any suffering you were feeling is over now. Golden as your namesake drink, find yourself a nice sunny spot at the Rainbow bridge to soak up the sun.

I am so sorry nothing could be done for Brandi. She passed at home, surrounded by love with you and her sisters and brother.

    Rest peacefully sweet girl.

Should add that Brandi had two sisters, (Ellie and Bailey), one brother, Dash, 4 little sisters (Ginger, Roscoe, Samantha, Shy girl), 2 little brothers (Zander and Cooter), 2 nieces (Shadow and cleo), 4 Nephews (Junior, Tucker, Bandit, Felix), and a sister-in-law melinda as her family and was with her off and on today. Her and dash was sleeping together earlier today, which was unusual. Dash usually doesn't like that. And yes these are not adopted family, but blood family except of course for melinda, but Melinda gave her Nieces and Nephews with the help of Zander and Cooter.
Tomorrow she will be burried (if weather allows) at the edge of the field near the house where she grew up. She will get to see the sun rise every morning and be under the shade of trees during the day.

Ok maybe too much, but just wanted to share.

I am so sorry Brandi is gone. At such a young age. It is nice she will be buried close to home.

    RIP Brandi
