    Today was Taggart's "birthday"!

I don't know Taggart's exact birthday but 5 years ago, March 7th 2007, is when a certain skinny, fluffy doggy first appeared in my life. The initial plan wasn't to keep him but to only foster him until a new home was found... but, well, that was clearly a disaster!

Since he was already all grown up when I got him, I obviously do not have any puppy pictures but here are two pictures from the very first day he spent with me.

His fur has always hidden it well but in this picture you can somewhat see how slim his hip area was at that point.

Taggart fit it perfectly right from the start and I especially think Tiki liked having a buddy to get into trouble with.

Sascha absolutely adored Taggart though. I don't know how many of you remember seeing pictures of Sascha before but she used to spend a lot of time with my dogs since she belongs to one of my best friends back in the Faroes. Sascha is still doing fine btw. She even got a rottie little brother now!
Here is a rare one where all three of them were playing together. Usually Tiki didn't like playing with Sascha since she could get a bit rough.

And another with all three of them. It's also one of my most favourite photos ever.

For a Faroese mutt he's most certainly seen his fair share of the world.

Here's one of him back in the Faroe Islands.

And around Cheektowaga, NY where we lived for a year or so.

Lots and lots of snow that winter!!

And then about half a year ago we moved to California... Unfortunately I realised I didn't really have any great outdoor pictures of around here, so this will have to do even if it's just outside in right here in the apartment complex

Oh and here is one I've been meaning to share for some time. Taggart and his dad, Alex. The men in my life! <3

And finally two from today of him enjoying his birthday treat. He also got some pig ears to chew on.

    Happy Birthday Taggart!

What great pics. He really is such a cute dog. I especially love the one of he and Tiki with their muddy paws. They look so proud of themselves!

His face looks so sweet in the pic with Alex. You can just see the love there.

Give Taggart a big hug for me and an extra biscuit and tell him Helen in Pennsylvania loves him.

Happy Birthday Taggart!! I just loved seeing the pictures that told your life story.

I also can't wait to meet you some day. It will be fun to get the Taggarts together.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Awww, Taggart! You were a skinny one at the start. The picture of you and Tiki with muddy paws made me I love the picture of you in the snow and the one of you with your dad! I like the very first one of you in post #2, too. You don't look skinny in that one, just very handsome! ((((HUG)))) Happy Birthday!
