What a beauty!!! The way her story is written allows me to see her innermost self and it looks very familiar to me. Even as much as I have loved dogs and been loved by them, I never cease to be amazed at their capacity for love and compassion. As far as I am concerned, nothing else can compare to a dog's love. How anyone could ever abuse a beautiful creature like Mocha by mistreatment or otherwise is totally beyond my comprehension. I am thrilled that she was blessed to connect with her loving forever family. My Dear Mocha, your story touched my heart. I wish for you a wonderful holiday season with all your family members. You are certainly worthy of being our Dog Of The Day.

Good morning beautiful Miss Mocha! A very happy Dog of the Day, and Thanksgiving, to you and your wonderful family from me and mine, including Star the 13 year old Lab! What a beauty you are, Mocha, inside and out! Your coat is simply gorgeous, SO shiny, and your heart, as BIG as they come!

I can't imagine one more deserving of our EXTRA special Thanksgiving Day honors than you, sweetheart, and I must admit, your Mommy (or Daddy's) love filled tribute to their beautiful girl, your totally heart melting photos, brought tears to my eyes!

As one who has worked in Lab/Retriever rescue for years, I know sadly and too well, how cruel and heartlessness (or worse) some so called families can be when it comes to dog guardianship. Thank goodness you were taken out of your abusive home while still young, happily living the bestest life imaginable with your wonderful family of humans and furry ones! With your gentle and loving heart, your loyal to a fault spirit, you embody all that is cherished, the very "best" in your much beloved breed! And I only imagine how special it was for your human to have you there by her/his side, comforting her and dutifully watching over her during her treatments. You truly are an earthly angel in a furry coat, Miss Mocha, and your human(s), your foster kitties and kitty sibling, truly blessed to have known your unconditional love and devotion these many years! (The photo of you watching over your tiny kitten has my heart melted into a puddle of mush!) And though, like my girl Star, you may be slowing down just a tad, it's clear you still have a lot of loving and living to do, so much more love to give, and I hope that you and your family may know many more happy years together!

Thanks to your wonderful family for sharing your inspirational story of rescue, and your beautiful photos with us! We are honored to have the opportunity to pay tribute to the very special girl that you are, and all that you mean to your family! Hello Sweet Girl! Mocha, you are beautiful inside and out!! What a sweet kind dog you are! I just looooved the pics of you and especially you and kitty. I got tears as I read your story. Mocha....What a beautiful baby you are. I have always wanted a Lab.
I had a beagle that also though that she was the Mommy to all the cats.
