Cookie you are definitely a pretty bird. I have not heard of your species of bird in the past. Your gorgeous colors must brighten up the day for many. I am hoping you have found your forever home now. It sounds like you have a lot of fun there hanging out in the sun and hiding from hawks. I am a little afraid of hawks some times too.

What a stunning, simply gorgeous girl (or boy, hehe) you are; your brilliant coloring is simply spectacular!

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy, bird watching day to claw off a note to us, and share some photos of your beautiful self! Love that shot of you with your feathered friend, basking in the sunlight and taking in the sights...cardinals, blue jays, black birds, sparrows, turtle doves...HAWKS!

(I laughed out loud picturing you and your birdie bud hiding under that towel, but to see you riding in that cart at Home Depot, now that's a sight to behold, I'm sure!
