"I'm Back !!"
But how long do they last?
All they are is light tubes created by recycling available materials.
They work fine as long as there's sunlight. Not so well in an area like upstate NY.
...after dark, LOL. They don't create light, they're just a a very efficient skylight. Still pretty cool idea, although I'd be worried about leakage eventually.
That's clever. They could also use more reflective surfaces in their homes, like mirrors or aluminum foil, to bounce the light around even more in the rooms. Too bad it doesn't work after dark. I couldn't live like that though, I can't see a thing without incandescent light or uv light. I tend to walk right up against the wall in buildings with only flourescent light because I can't see good.

Well they are guaranteed by the manufacturer (that's the guy with no teeth) for 24 hours or until it rains, whichever comes first.
