    Killearn Kitty Jessica

I was honored to meet - in the fur so to speak - the very fluffable Lady Jessica (and her daughters!)

It is wonderful to see her honored for the lovely and elegant cat she was!

Jessica, it's so great to see you as COTD today. You really did have a wonderful long life in a very loving and caring forever home. It was also nice that you got to live there with two of your daughters. Congrats on being COTD today!!! I know that your family still misses you a lot.

Jessica- I wish I could hear that sound again- the sound of the cat flap at the backdoor as you left when I entered the front door.
For quite some time I thought there were no three of you as the most I could aver spot behind curtains or on the fence was 2. The last picture proves me wrong.

Congratulations to our very own Killearn Kitty Jessica, beloved grey girl at the Rainbow Bridge. What a good, long life full of love you have had, at home with two of your daughters and your wonderful human family!

CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Aww, there's my beautiful girl! It was Randi who managed to get that photo of her, and it was as good a picture as was ever taken of Jessica.

Too funny, Barbara. Our neighbours who came in to feed the cats if we weren't here always spoke about the way the flap would clatter three times as they came in the front door. When we had neighbours in just before Christmas though, Jessica came into the room and sat nervously under the tree. All were stunned. It was the most reckless thing she ever did in her life.

Jessica was proud to be mum to two previous Cats of the Day, Samantha and Smokey, and she thoroughly deserves to be featured as the formidable personality she was. She is greatly missed.

Thank you so much Karen and Paul for choosing Jessica today.

Such a beautiful girl was Jessica! All three family members, actually, are stunning. An independent cat but still liked the indoors. That's truly remarkable. I hope that she's enjoying her day as COTD at the Bridge.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Aww, the original Grey Lady of Killearn, how sweet! I just know you're commanding a great deal of attention at the Bridge today, sweetheart, as you should be. You gave your family such loving memories and spent your life with your babies. What more could anyone ask?

I send up a toast (of coffee, too early for anything else) to a lovely Grey Lady, COTD Jessica.

    Jessica!

Yes - she was a strong hardy cat...I was happy to read that she finally decided to become a 'semi-pet'...! And that two of her kittens grew up with her.
Jessica lived a long wonderful life!

I posted on FB but I'll post here to. I guess I'll never meet you sweet one but as I close my eyes, I can visualize you in all your fur glory. Congrats Jessica!!!
