Wow, where to begin? First of all Merlin, kudos for living on Oahu; I love Hawaii and have visited many times. Second, you are gorgeous; you look like a cross between an Oriental Shorthair and maybe a Burmese. No matter what, you are handsome! Then, whats the deal with square teeth? They must not work as well as normal teeth, and that probably didn't feel too good either, did it? Nor did your illnesses, poor lttle guy.

Well, you FINALLY have your forever home, and have become healthy, thank goodness. I wish you a long life in paradise with your wonderful family. Thank you family, for saving this wonderful kitty. And Merlin, happy COTD

Merlin would like to thank everyone for their kind words. As you can imagine he is a busy boy, playing with his toys, taking naps and having snacks. Also, Merlin does not have thumbs so he cannot type very well. That's why he has his staff to take charge of his correspondence and other administrative duties such as making his meals, cleaning his commode and attending to his purrsonal grooming.

He is a well-loved, very pampered cat.

As your Mommy says, you couldn't be more aptly named! You are one charming, enchanting fellow, for sure; just look how you worked your magic on your Daddy! He never had a chance, falling under your spell in record time!

I'm sickened, reading of your former life, Merlin. I thought I had heard it all when it came to animal abuse, but to think your former "human" had filed your teeth down is simply horrifying. Thankfully you found your way to your forever family where all of your needs, physical and emotional would be met in spades! I'm so happy to hear you're doing well after you frightening bout with toxoplasmosis. But you're the picture of perfect health now, and clearly one very happy and content, much loved furkid, with nothing but carefree days to look forward to! Oh, what a rags to riches tale is yours, sweetheart!

Thanks to your wonderful family for choosing rescue, giving one most deserving kitty a paw up in life, and to your dear Dad for taking a chance on you! (You knew he was kitty lover along!)
