    Cotea

Cotea, you have come a long way from your wild beginnings, thanks to much love, devotion and patience! From shunning humans to being riddden in parades, and now having POTD honours bestowed upon you . . . congratulations from a New Jersey resident who had my beloved horse Tim for 25 years. He was also crowned POTD and lived to a very ripe old age. May you enjoy the same longevity and hope you get lots of attention and treats to celebrate, handsome Cotea!

Oh Cotea! What a beautiful creature you are! I grew up reading about, watching documentaries about, the wild ponies of Assateague Island, Virginia, and their famous swim from Assateague to Chincoteague; simply magnificent, and I hope to one witness the event myself! And to think your Mom has been so blessed, to have a member of this much revered breed to call her very own, is no doubt truly a dream come true! (That's one very special Daddy you have there!)
How far you've come from those wild and skittish days, thanks to your parents unwavering devotion and patience! I'm from your NJ neck of the woods, and would love to see you marching in one of your parades one day! What a joy you are, Cotea, truly one of a kind, with a "wild" and loving heart; how lucky your family is to have you (and your pony sibs) in their lives!

Congratulations on being crowned our most deserving honoree, beautiful Cotea! Thanks so much for brightening my gray and gloomy day with your heart warming story and heart melting photos! I hope for you and yours a very special Pet of the Day celebration, and many, many more happy years together! Love and a big hug to you, beautiful boy!

Most beautiful pony ever! Its amazing how quickly they come back to being a domestic animal even if they were born in the wild.

Oh my! I love your story! And I have also read Misty of Chincoteague and its quite a fabulous story. It must be a great news for your mom, when you came and especially that you are petoftheday!

    Congratulations!
